I wanted to thank Persiah for doing such a great job preparing [my son] for the test. We will tell everyone that we know to use Tried & True.

Your questions,
answered.

How does online tutoring work?

SAT/ACT sessions are 90 minutes on Zoom, with homework between every session and another practice exam every three or four sessions.

How is a tutor selected?

A director reviews your student’s goals and preparation needs, then matches the student with an experienced adult professional. Our tutors bring deep content knowledge and a structured system for teaching and practice.

Will my student keep the same tutor?

Yes. Students are matched with a tutor and generally stay with that tutor throughout preparation.

What commitment is required?

The minimum commitment is two sessions. Discuss the amount of preparation that fits your student’s goals and timeline with a director.

What if the tutor match is not working?

Let us know. We can switch tutors to find a better fit.
